Shhreya Balasubramanian
Shhreya is a second-year Computing & Law student at SMU. She is driven by her interest in how technology intersects with policy, society, and youth development.
Beyond this, she loves spending time with her friends and yapping about her latest hyperfixations :))

Beatrice Tan
Beatrice is a final year Law student at SMU. She believes strongly in the power of youth to make change, and continues to encourage others to utilise their strengths to create good. She loves purple, eating Chinese and Taiwanese food and making wacky Telegram stickers of the rest of the Core team.
Beatrice is currently on exchange!

Zoe Toh
Zoe is a final year Law student at SMU. She believes that everyone's experiences should be heard and delights in creating value in and elevating diverse youth perspectives.
She loves her old and grumpy cat Mong Mong, kayaking and is a serial hobbyist.

Bryan Ong
Bryan is a first year Law Student from NUS. As a member of NYC's first #TechHacks team, he brings policy-shaping experience and has a strong foundation in leading youth conversations on issues in tech.
Bryan also loves Europe and baking bread!

Kiera Wong
Kiera is a graduating Communications and New Media student from NUS. She is fascinated with how tech and media intersect in today’s hyperconnected world, and how youths are increasingly exposed to both through pop culture. She is also very interested in cutting down her screen time.
In her free time, Kiera is growing her fountain pen collection and trying to master gouache paint.

Josh Lee
Josh serves as Managing Director (APAC) of the Future of Privacy Forum, and Advisor (Technology, Media and Telecommunications) at Rajah & Tann Asia. He is also the current Director and founding Chairperson of the Asia-Pacific Legal Innovation and Technology Association. Josh also co-founded LawTech.Asia, a virtual publication on law and technology in Asia. He is an excellent dancer!

Dev Bahl
Dev is the Director for Products at MAGES Studio. He builds life-affirming solutions leveraging Immersive Reality and Applied Games. Dev is passionate about social impact and am an advocate for tech-for-good.
Dev is also very awesome.
Our Team
We would like to acknowledge our invaluable team of volunteers across the two departments in YouthTech Institute. Our volunteers come from a diverse range of backgrounds and educational levels. We aim to enrich your volunteering experience with us by following the pedagogy of "See One, Do One, Teach One" - by the end of your volunteer experience with us, you would have been empowered to lead your own project and learnt much more about how policy works or start-up projects thrive.
